The Granchiaia is a villa nestled mid valley next to woodlands and overlooking a series of fields of the farm where we have planted a combination of fruit wild trees. This makes particularity makes it a wonderful private environment for families with children , groups, and friends, also to be noted that the nearby woodland keeps it very fresh during the hot summer days.
The strategic position makes daily trips to the major historical towns a joy as travel time is within the hour in most cases.

The house is very private and also it’s lawn and pool area make it a fantastic place for those active family games, frisbee, footy, badminton. In the barn a ping pong table for group tournaments.
The little ones can use the small pool below the infinity lip of the larger pool to paddle in and attempt the first solo swims.
The large downstairs sitting and dining area makes an ideal place to gather and chat.
For those who want a bit of peace and quiet there is a upstairs sofa in-front of the large fireplace.
The kitchen has been equipped so to cook for big groups a pleasure.

Guests have the whole place villa, garden and pool to themselves.

The guests are showed in by us and given a brief talk through the house of all that needs to be known so to leave them with as much knowledge to be independent. But we are happy to give indications, suggestions on anything that they might need or want.

The area in which the villa is locates is between the two neighboring villages of Marti and Montopoli Val d’Arno here one can find restaurants, bars, supermarkets, a little museum, local produce, markets and most other requirements. For shopping Pontedera and it high street is a better choice.

The Granchiaia is better reached by car.
